North Room:

André Ethier

April 22 - May 21, 2005

Opening Reception: Friday, April 22, 6 - 8 pm

André Ethier’s paintings explore the racial and sexual stereotypes found in fairy tales and religious mythology. Rather than illustrating specific stories, he invents provocative open-ended narratives that touch upon latent sexuality, wonderment, and xenophobia.

André Ethier lives and works in Toronto. This will be his first show with the gallery.
