Images of heads, hats, and houseplants are the focus of Jon Pestoni’s intimate and uncanny paintings.
His simplified cartoon-like portraits emphasize flatness, yet effectively create pictorial depth and atmosphere.
By combining different methodologies of paint application such as spray, washes, and spills, he creates thoughtful psychological profiles.
